Is there a free web page site (like Google Pages) which allows you to password-protect parts of your site?

Password protection is a very easy script to set up, and there are tons of scripts out there. While you may find a page pre-made to do this, incorporating a script into your existing web pages will make the function a lot more appealing to your visitors. Besides, using a script will allow you to password protect ANY page in your website, and eliminates the need to go searching for a page.

Here is an example script in Java:

To use this, simpply place the contents of the script in the section of the web page you want to protect. The pass is “password”, by default, and the page it is set to go to is the Yahoo home page, but both can be changed in the script.
