Best Free Websites to Find people and information about them?

Would like to know some good websites to look people up for free with as much information as possible. Have used switchboard and peoplesearch.com. Especially in cross referencing names.

This is a tough one. I know that many states have a criminal record search and such. (Alaska) It depends on what info that you want to obtain and why i guess.
