I take it you mean Launceston and Devonshire, as Launceston is in Cornwall? Not much industry there. This is an agricultural and tourism area. Biggest industrials are: Ginsters (Samworth Brothers) has a high turnover of staff. Chilled desserts are made there, and the working environment is very cold. The savoury foods are made at the Callington factory. Another factory is David Smith Packaging, which does wrapping products. About 4 miles into Devon is the Ambrosia Foods (milk puddings, custard) factory at Lifton, Devon. There is another food factory in Okehampton, not sure of latest name, there have been so many sales and takeovers, I can't keep up. Has been McVities and Heinz in the past.
It is unlikely you will get work by advertising. There are plenty of recruits, a lot of Polish people work in these industries. Suggest you contact the Launceston Jobcentre, or check out the local newspapers, The Cornish and Devon Post, the Cornish Guardian, and the Okehampton Times. They are weekly. The daily Western Morning News (based in Plymouth) has job adverts on Thursdays. Most vacancies are advertised in these papers. You could also write to HR for each employer.
